Approach
Mateo Deza Studio (MDS) is an architecture and design practice based in New York and Lima. We aim to push the boundaries of each project to create buildings, spaces, and communities that respect and elevate human-scale architecture. Our work spans a wide range of disciplines and typologies, operating across diverse scales and areas of expertise.
Our creative approach is both analytical and collaborative. We question each project through an iterative process that explores how we live, work, and coexist. Our architecture emerges from ideas and spatial strategies that advocate for change, foster connection, and inspire transformation. By challenging conventional notions of aesthetics and functionality, we design for people — and the communities they shape.
